What is rehabilitation?

Following surgery, an accident or a major illness, you may notice some reduction in your usual ability to cope with everyday activities. This can often be a very difficult experience for you and your family. Rehabilitation provides the care, therapy and support needed to assist you towards attaining maximum independence.

Our Facilities

Beleura Private Hospital’s Rehabilitation Unit provides a specialist 60 bed inpatient facility and comprehensive outpatient day rehabilitation services. We are fully equipped with a hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy, gymnasium, occupational therapy department, speech pathology area and other therapy facilities. Therapy is provided seven days a week.

How to book:

To attend our inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, we require a signed referral from a GP or a specialist to one of our Rehabilitation Specialists.
Once you have been referred to the program by your specialist, GP or referring hospital, you will be contacted by the Program Co-ordinator to arrange a suitable starting date.
