Direct Medical Admissions

GPs can now admit patients directly to our medical unit for care and investigations. We accept all adult and non-critical patients with medical conditions, examples include diabetes & hypertension management, geriatrics, gastro issues, cellulitis, UTI’s and wound infections.

If you have a patient requiring a medical admission you can make one phone call to the number below and our on-site Bed Manager/After Hours Manager and Medical Registrar or VMO will organise for your patient to be admitted that day. This new hotline is accessible 24 hours a day.

Direct Access GP Hotline

Beleura Private Hospital recognise that at times it can be hard to find a specialist. We have implemented the GP Direct Access line to assist in improving our clinical pathways for GPs and their patients.

The GP hotline ensures we are easily accessible 24/7.

We welcome GPs to call us on the hotline if they are:

• Looking for a specialist to refer to in a specific area
• Need to find a specialist with a specific sub-specialty interest
• Would like information on services available
• Require information on a patient that has been admitted to our hospital.
