Beleura Private Hospital
Part of Ramsay Health Care

Outpatient treatment options are suited to patients who are no longer in acute crisis but who need further support to recover.

The diverse collection of tailored therapeutic programs available at Beleura Private Hospital can assist patients during the transition period following discharge from a hospital admission, during times of crisis or episodes of heightened stress and anxiety, or as ongoing support to maintain mental health and wellbeing.

Our day programs are group based and teach individuals’ effective strategies to manage their mental health. They also offer a forum to share with others in a similar situation, providing an opportunity to feel connected and reduce sense of isolation. The programs we offer include;

  • Pushing away your poison
  • Managing Mood Disorders
  • Support, Strategies & Sobriety
  • Managing Anxiety Disorders
  • Expression through Art & Journaling
  • Staying on Track for Women
  • 1825 Young Peoples Group

How to make a referral

Patients who would like to access the day programs will require a GP referral to our Intake Service. If you prefer to choose your own Psychiatrist, please use our specialist directory tool to find and contact a Psychiatrist and request a referral through your GP.

GPs wishing to make a referral please contact 03 5976 0840

The patient will then be allocated to one of our admitting Psychiatrists who will complete a one-off assessment before beginning their relevant Day Program.

Accessing the program

We recommend potential patients verify their eligibility with their private health insurance and ensure they have the appropriate level of cover. Please contact us if you are interested in self-funded rates, health fund rebates and work cover funding.
