The Beleura Clinic: The Process
The Process
The Medical Phase
This phase is carefully managed by qualified and experienced doctors and nursing staff. A short course of medication may be prescribed for patients to assist with any withdrawal symptoms. Clients are also given a full medical examination and psychological assessment.
The Recovery Phase
During this part of the program, individual and group therapy is undertaken in the quiet, restful environment of the Beleura Clinic. Exercise, diet plans and physical activities are introduced to help regain physical health and emotional well being.
We encourage family members to participate as much as possible and they are welcome to attend family group sessions.
The length of the programs recovery phase varies, depending on the individual, but usually it takes between 3 to 4 weeks.
